Donna

8-Year-Old Female Budgerigar

Donna is one of the original birds we rescued--and boy, has she come a long way! This spunky little budgie is full of personality, with a special love for her human friends.

Unlike her feathered friends Mango and Snow, Donna is currently in breeding condition--which means her cere (the fleshy area above her beak) is brown. But despite her focus on family matters, she still finds plenty of time to indulge in her favorite treat--millet!

Mango

3-Year-Old Female Budgerigar

Mango is one food-motivated bird! Her love of snacks has made her a breeze to train, and she's always eager to learn new tricks and commands.

Unlike her friend Donna, Mango is not in breeding condition--which means her cere (the fleshy area above her beak) is not dark and crusty. But that doesn't stop her from being a lively and playful little bird, with a special love for foraging for treats on the ground!

Snow

4-Year-Old Female Budgerigar

Snow may be small, but she's mighty! This chatty little bird is the most talkative of our budgies and loves nothing more than striking up a conversation with her human friends.

Despite her talkative nature, Snow is not in breeding condition--much to the relief of her fellow budgies, Donna and Mango. She's always up for a good romp, though, and can often be found chasing after her feathered friends with abandon.

Luke

17-Year-Old Male Cockatiel

Luke is our resident gentleman--always polite, always charming, and always ready for a snack. He's bonded with his pal Leia, but we've never seen them mate--despite their close relationship!

Although Luke can't fly due to some missing wing feathers, he doesn't let that slow him down. He's a big fan of nutriberries, millet, and oat groats, and can often be found snacking contentedly while surveying his domain.

Leia

8-Year-Old Female Cockatiel

Leia may be small, but she's fierce--just ask anyone who's ever gotten on her bad side! Despite her temper, though, she's always up for a good snack and loves nothing more than perching on the shoulders of her favorite humans.

Leia is full of surprises. Despite not having a mate, she's laid eggs on more than one occasion--much to everyone's surprise! She's also been known to use her buddy Luke as a plate when it's time to chow down.

Sunny

45-Year-Old Female Yellow-Crowned Amazon Parrot

Sunny is one of our most recent rescues, and boy is she a feisty little bird! Her favorite treats are pistachios and clementine oranges, and she's always up for a good conversation.

This spunky little parrot is full of surprises. Not only can she speak--she's got an entire vocabulary of words and phrases--but she's also been known to yell out for "Mom" when she's feeling lonely. She may be tough on the outside, but Sunny has a heart of gold and loves nothing more than a good snuggle with her favorite human.
